As part of its Community Service, the Rotary Club of Calgary, Downtown sponsors a day of meals and provides volunteers for Calgary’s Homeless at the Drop-In Centre.  This event is organized by Greg Stevenson.

The plan is to host one dinner per year.  We need approximately 40 volunteers for the event. Shifts are about 90 minutes long and are needed throughout the day.

On October 19, 2017, we served up about 3,500 meals to Calgary’s most needy.  Volunteers served the meals as well as helped prepare them.  The meals were of good quality and nutritional. Facility tours were given to those that were interested.  They were quite an eye-opener.
